Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I hope you are all surrounded by the people you love and plenty of food! I’ve got a sick kid today, so I’m actually going to be home with him while the rest of the family travels to Tulsa. I could get really upset about this and complain, but I’m choosing to look at the good side of things. I think this is a good strategy for life in general. You can always find something to be thankful for, and overall, you’ll be happier if you choose to think this way.
Be Thankful on your Wedding!
Weddings are supposed to be happy, but it also can be extremely stressful. Some people get really upset if anything goes wrong. Then, they spend their wedding day not happy. I’ve said it for years: something will go wrong at your wedding!
You can either choose to be unhappy about it or choose to be thankful for all the good things that are happening. Be thankful that you have your friends and family there, be thankful for all the things that are going right, and be extremely thankful you’ve found the perfect person for you! When you focus on those things, the small little things won’t matter.
I also wanted to say how thankful I am for my job. I’m thankful that I get to do something every day that I love. I’m thankful to all of you that have supported me and trusted me for your wedding and for those of you that refer me to others. I’m especially thankful to my wife who trusted me enough to let me quit my other job and be a full-time photographer.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and no matter what happens today, focus on all the good things in your life. Enjoy your time with each other and I’d love to see some photos of your food and families.
