Celeste and Joshua had a beautiful wedding at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable several months ago. They both are highly involved in competitive cheer and teach and judge the competitions. I actually met Celeste through one of my students that cheered for her. I’m lucky to have such helpful students.
Celeste’s Wedding at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable
St. Catherine’s was absolutely lovely as always, but space was an issue. Celeste and Joshua brought a large amount of guests with them, but only so many people can fit inside the stone chapel. They ended up splitting it where the closest family was inside and the rest were on the lawn. To help out the situation, we actually made a live feed from inside to outside on a TV. This was a little stressful because it was something else to do, and it was also something we had never done before. It ended up working so that’s great.
My favorite moment from the day was the first look. Up the hill is a little cottage where the bride gets dressed, and there is also this hidden little area toward the back with a water wheel. We put Joshua there for the first look. He was probably the most emotional and energetic groom I’ve ever seen. When he finally did turn around he cheered out loud with joy. It was awesome.
The reception was a blast as well. It was at Scarpino’s off Dickson. There was so much excitement the whole night. There were people dancing all over the place, a special box ceremony, some wine on the wedding dress, and even a dropped cake. It was all good and just added to the festivities.
This Wedding at St. Catherine’s at Bell Gable ended with an exit where everyone cheered and smiled. It was a long, hot day, but I loved being able to be part of it. Sometimes the good just makes you forget about the struggles.
