October is about to be one crazy month. I’ve got family photos, seniors, engagements, and weddings all coming at me. Before that all happens, I’m going to try to get caught up with some past shoots. One of those was Taylor and Donivon’s engagement photos at Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista. It was a fun time with a bunch of interesting people.
Engagement Photos at Tanyard Creek: Taylor and Donivon
Tanyard Creek is a great place for photos. It’s this trail back near a golf course in Bella Vista. I’ve shot there several times in the past for families, seniors, and engagements, but I’m still finding more and more areas there to use. I need to just go out there one day by myself and explore all the possibilities.
This was my first time really meeting Taylor and Donivon, so I got to learn all about them. I’ve done some wedding work for their family before, so we probably ran into each other, but I don’t think we ever really talked. We had quite the time walking around Tanyard Creek and I found out some interesting things. They just actually moved out to Colorado, so that’s a new adventure for them, one which I hope is going smoothly. I think my favorite thing I learned was that Donivon became interested in the law after he got himself out of several tickets. Next to that I learned that Taylor is very clumsy, and we were lucky she didn’t trip over all the rocks.
As far as the shoot, we had some nice backdrops. We went out in front of a waterfall, hid in some tress, stood in a creek, and danced in a field. Each one of these places was right off the trail and within 10 minutes of each other. That made our day really easy. The hardest part was enduring the crazy humidity.
I’ll get to hang out with Taylor and Donivon again this May for the big day. It’s going to be a fun one. We’re taking care of the photos and the video that day. I hope they enjoy these Engagement Photos at Tanyard Creek, but I expect the big day to be even more amazing.
