Each couple has their own personality, and Kala and Braden could be described as joyful or hilarious. That’s what I saw most at their Whitney Mountain Lodge wedding. Braden always has a smile glued to his face and Kala was always making me laugh. Together they make an awesome pair.
Kala and Braden’s Whitney Mountain Lodge Wedding
Whitney Mountain Lodge is a unique wedding venue. It’s located in or near Garfield, AR and on top of the hills. For me, it’s a bit of a drive to get there, but it is so worth it. The Lodge is located at the top of the mountain and looks down over Beaver Lake. The view is breathtaking and people will often drive up there just to take a look. The lodge has plenty of rooms for guests, and has a dining area and other rooms downstairs for the reception.
The ceremony was held outside, looking over the lake. When looking at the couple, there’s just blue skies and water behind them. It’s one of the most magical combinations for a ceremony. Kala and Braden chose a special officiant for the day. It was one of Braden’s good friends, so it wasn’t your normal speech; it was personal.
The reception really fit with their personality. They were there to have fun, and they did that. Braden owns Razorbooth, so there was a fantastic photo booth for everyone to use, even Grandma. Then outside they danced until the late hours.
This was my second Whitney Mountain Lodge wedding, and I love working there. Kala and Braden made it that much more fun for me. I got to do another portrait shoot with them recently, and I will definitely be showing off that great time as well.
