Last year (maybe in August), I did a bridal show at the John Q. and they were putting together a grand prize package. I decided to offer up a photography package to the winner to help out. Well, the nicest people won, Linda and Chuck. It was a joy to be part of their Springdale Country Club wedding.
Linda and Chuck’s Springdale Country Club Wedding
Both Linda and Chuck came into this marriage with children, which can be a difficult thing, but the relationships I saw were amazing. Everyone really loved everyone and it was as if they were all really related. They incorporated this into their ceremony. At one point, Linda gave Chuck’s son a gift, and Chuck gave her daughter one as well. It was very emotional.
The day was laid back which fit with their personality. They mainly talked and hung out. Linda’s daughter and several younger girls did love to dance though. They were out their doing all types of choreographed dances. It was pretty entertaining.
Toward the end of the day, I did take them both out onto the golf course for just a few photos. It was a bright day, so I just had them close their eyes throughout the whole thing. It worked perfectly.
If I hadn’t donated the shoot, I never would have gotten to meet this great family and be part of their Springdale Country Club Wedding. It is really strange how life can guide you in certain ways and lead you to other people. I’m sure Linda and Chuck could say the same thing about their relationship and finding each other. It’s a beautiful thing.
