About two months ago, I started creating videos with general information for brides and posting them on my new YouTube account. I got some good stuff on there, but then I got distracted and stopped making them. Well, I’m hoping to get back on top of it, and I’d like to produce a video a week. A good chunk of it will be aimed at brides, but I also thought I’d share some photography tips like I use to. I might just do the videos on YouTube, but I also thought about doing live photography education on Facebook.
Live Photography Education on Facebook
It amazes me how many people are doing Facebook Live these days. Some of it is random, but for the most part, it’s people explaining things, doing tutorials, or some form of education. If I understand things correctly, I think this would be a great platform for teaching photography. Unlike recorded video, live video let’s me interact with people and answer questions, which I think is important. I’ve watched recorded videos before and felt totally lost. If I could have asked a question, it would have fixed things.
With all that said, do you think this is a good idea? Would you be interested in participating? What are some topics you’d like me to cover? When would the best time be to go live? I know that’s a lot of questions, but if I’m going to do this, I want it to help as many people as possible.
Alright, so I’d like to start doing more videos in the next week. I might only do the Live Photography Education on Facebook once a month and the rest be recorded. I guess we’ll see how it goes. Please feel free to comment or contact me with your opinions on all of it.
