Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade

Weddings are my main focus, but throughout the year, I will do a few different events. I’m happy to say that as of today, I will be covering the Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade on April 30th at the John Q. Hammons Center.

Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade

I’ve seen too many things in my life now to really believe in coincidence. Things just seem to line up too easily for that. I’ve come to believe that things are meant to be and happen for a reason. Well, my getting involved in this event fits that. I just happened to see a post on Facebook from someone I knew, so I decided to check it out. I went to their event website and thought, “I’ll send them an email and see what happens,” not knowing if they already had a photographer or if they would even respond to me. Today, two days I believe after the email, I talked to one of the lovely ladies in charge. To make things even crazier, after we talked for a bit, Lisa realized that my cousin had interned under her. How crazy is that? With all these small chances, I really feel like this is something that I’m supposed to be part of.

As far as the event, it is a fundraiser to further research breast cancer, specifically metastatic breast cancer. The big difference between this event and others is that 100% of the proceeds go to the research….all of it! That’s amazing.

It’s going to be an unbelievable night. You get to dress up and look beautiful, have a delicious dinner, dance the night away, and help out a good cause. I highly suggest you get tickets to the Northwest Arkansas Metsquerade. More information can be found here. I’d love to see you there.
