Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographers: Courtney and Casey’s wedding
Courtney and Casey were married in August, and their big day was beautiful. Northwest Arkansas wedding photographers, like myself, are always looking for great couples and great weddings, and I hit the jackpot. They were fun to work with, good in front of a camera, and had tons of great details in their wedding.
I am so happy they introduced me to such a great location in Springdale, Sassafras Springs Vineyard. We got some of the most beautiful outdoor photos I took this year. It really seemed like the perfect spot to take photos.
The ceremony took place in a shaded strip down below the winery, which was awesome because it was around 100 outside and the sun would have been way too bright out in the open. Another great thing about the ceremony was the openess of it. I could move all around and get different angles, which you can’t really do inside most churches.
For portraits, we easily found a big area and it was also shaded by the trees, making it much easier to get portraits. We also used a bridge for just the couple, and the light was mind blowing! It was streaming through the trees at the perfect angle, highlighting the trees and the couple.
The reception was in the barn, a few yards from everything else. They set up tables and chairs outside and inside, so there was plenty of room to sit and mingle. Inside there was also plenty of room for dancing and a dressing room for the bride. Outside the barn, Courtney and Casey finished the night with a sprinkler exit with a big dip and kiss in front of all of their friends.
Casey and Courtney rocked the whole day, and I’m sure tons of Northwest Arkansas wedding photographers are going to be looking to use Sassafras Springs for their photos. I know I personally hope to shoot several wedding there soon.
