Awhile back I started going through and reviewing several Northwest Arkansas Wedding Venues to try to help out couples and other photographers. When I was going strong I managed to get Creekwood Gardens, The Garden Room, and The Grand at 117. I’m going to try to continue talking about all the venues I know in the next few weeks. Today, we’re going to Hunt Chapel.
Northwest Arkansas Wedding Venues: Hunt Chapel
Hunt Chapel is still relatively new in the world of weddings. I think it’s been open for maybe 3 to 4 years. In that time, I’ve been there around 3 or 4 times, so I’ve had a chance to kind of build my opinion of the place and see what it has to offer.
Hunt Chapel is located in the northwest corner of Rogers and there isn’t much around it. There is a large portion of land surrounding it which I believe is partially the Hunt memorial. The good thing about this is you don’t have to worry about being bothered by people or noises from other businesses. I’ve used the land surrounding it for engagement photos, and it would work just as well for bridal portraits or day of portraits.
There are two parts to the area: the chapel and the preparation rooms. Right across from the chapel is where the bride and groom get ready. It’s not a giant building, but it does exactly what it should. Both the bride’s and groom’s room is large enough for a bridal party to hang out and get ready for the day. The chapel is beautiful. It’s a large wooden structure with windows all around. Inside is spacious with two sides for seating and space on the sides and back if needed for overflow.
From my experiences as a wedding photographer, I’ve really enjoyed working at Hunt Chapel. It’s one of the newer Northwest Arkansas Wedding Venues, but it is already building quite a reputation for it’s high ceilinged chapel and it’s beautiful windows. If you haven’t been there yet, you should go for a visit.
