Wow, it has been such a busy past couple of months. I keep thinking things are going to slow down, but then more things pop up. I’m not complaining, I love all the work, but it has been hard to keep up with all of my writing. With that said, I’m finally getting around to sharing Ashley and Ben’s Prairie Grove engagement session. This is another one of the special sessions from the Diamond Center promotion, similar to Haley and Brock’s session. Basically, if a groom got a ring from the Diamond Center during a certain period, I would either photograph the proposal or an engagement session.
Prairie Grove Engagement Session: Ashley and Ben
I met Ashley and Ben at the Prairie Grove Battlefield park for the engagement session. The first thing I found out is that Ashley is also a photographer, so that could be a bit intimidating, but she was totally cool about everything. These two are just fun to be around. They have great personalities and were just full of smiles. Ashley is the crazier of the two, but I had fun talking to Ben, and he was up for anything we threw at him.
My favorite photos from the session came from our time in this high grass. The sun was coming in behind them and I was crouched down low. It looked great. Then, Ben started randomly twirling and dancing with Ashley. I just kept firing away as they did it all. We got a little dip in there and it was perfect!
The other part of the engagement session for the Diamond Center is a video. I did some quick clips of the two of them as we went along, and then I interviewed them at the very end. I asked questions about their relationship, personalities, and the ring buying experience. My hope is to get that video up in the next two weeks or so. There are a lot of people getting engaged soon, and they need to hear about how awesome the Diamond Center is. If you know anyone about to propose, send them to the Diamond Center and then send them to me. I’d love to capture another proposal.
