The past few months I’ve been working on plenty of things but I haven’t had any weddings. I’ve been fixing my website, doing a bridal show, working on marketing, and studying for my drone pilot license. Well, that time is over and wedding season is here! I had my first 2018 wedding this last Friday, and now things are going to be super busy!
When it’s cold most people don’t want to go out and do shoots. Now that it’s starting to warm up I will be doing engagement shoots and bridals. I’ve got bridals with Emily tomorrow and then I have several engagement sessions lined up in the next month. Most of them will be during the week because that’s the only time I have. I’ll be sharing those as I get them done.
For the next few months my Saturdays are all taken. I’ve got two more weddings this month and then April has four and then between May and June I have another 5 or so and I might be booking more!
My plan is to try to do a better job keeping up with the blog than I did last year. Last year I was so busy I wrote maybe once a week. I’d like to post something 3 times a week. It might be showing off shoots or maybe just general wedding tips. Occasionally I might throw in some photographer or editing tutorials as well.
The off season can be relaxing but it also can get boring after awhile. I’m exciting that wedding season has started back up again. I’ve got some great couples and some really fun weddings coming up. I still have spots open for the end of 2018, so if you know anyone that’s engaged, please send them my way.
