Wedding Video at Mildred B. Cooper Chapel

We do video…actually a lot of video, but we are mainly known for our photography. Usually people book us first for photography and then add on video. Occasionally, someone will find us and we just do video. I actually really love it when this happens because that means I’m the one that gets to shoot the video. The other way around, I’m handling the photos and I have someone doing the video. I really enjoy getting a chance to do something different. Anyway…for Allie and Kevin’s wedding video at Mildred B. Cooper chapel, I got to video their wedding ceremony.

There were a lot of things about this wedding that didn’t fit my usual wedding jam. Normally, I’m at a wedding for at least 5-7 hours. I might have been there for an hour max. A big part of what I do is getting to know my couples. I emailed back and forth with Allie, but I don’t think we ever talked. I know I never met her or Kevin before the big day.

Is any of this a bad thing? Not at all. It was nice to have a short day. I knew exactly what I needed to get done and I put all of my energy and focus into it. It was also really fun jumping into the wedding and not knowing them. I talked to Kevin a little bit before the ceremony, so I could get a feel for him. He seemed like a really kind, laid back guy. Then, I learned more about their relationship by watching the ceremony and listening to what was said. One thing that really stuck out to me was that Allie was walked down by her mom, and then her mom pulled them close and had some kind words to say before it all got started.

Feel free to check out the video for all the other great moments. Also, if you had no idea that we did video and you’d like to see all the lovely wedding films we make and all the goofy rants, SUBSCRIBE! Yep, if you love Youtube, you can see when we add any new video content. Enjoy!
